Rebel Thugs

Ole Miss Athletic Director Pete Boone announced Sunday that approximately 20 Rebel football players were being suspended from the team. The reason given was the standard behavior unbecoming of a student athlete. However the most disturbing part was that included in these behaviors were allegations that some Ole Miss football players stole property from hotels including radios and pillows. These athletes have already repaid the hotel for the cost of the property but coach Orgeron is not happy about it. "Any actions similar to this will result in severe penalties including dismissal from the team" said coach Orgeron.

Congratulations Ole Miss fans, not only do you have the worst team in the league on the field it also appears you have the worst team off the field too. Go Rebs!

Wow...suspended AFTER the last game of the year. I guess "character" to Ole Miss is something seen on a cartoon....

Several years ago Ole Miss banned "sticks" from their football games...unruly fans had been putting Confederate Flags on 'em....wonder if they will ban clock radios and pillows now?

What a joke that program is.....

What a shame that a public university underwrites these actions and allows these players to participate in the next game after they've STOLEN items on 2 separate occasions!! Please, please don't confuse the university mentioned in this blog - the university of Mississippi - with Mississippi State University. We're proud of our athletes!
