After watching 6 different SEC games in their entirity this weekend it was clear to me who the players of the week is and the Crimson Tide nation should have no objection.
John Parker Wilson - QB Alabama - Saturday JPW toarched the Tennessee Volunteers for a career high 363 yards. He was 32-46 with three touchdowns. At the end of the season we may look back on this performance as a turning point in the season for the Tide. The junior from Hoover Alabama is beaming with confidence going into the offweek. This is exactly the type of performance that the Crimson Tide nation was hoping for going into the crucial LSU matchup in 2 weeks.

Wilson is a fine choice but I think he may have been the third best qb in the sec this past week. How about Andre Woodson going for 415 yards and 5tds and 0 picks with completing 70% of his passes against the defending national champs, or Heisman favorite Tim Tebow 18 of 26 for 256 yards and 4 tds and rushing for another 78 yards and a td against a top ten team on the road.
Andre and Tebow had great games but JPW potentially changed the outcome of the Tide's season on Saturday.
That is true but he was not even nominated by the Alabama to the sec office for player of the week, his wr DJ was with his 13 catch 185 yard 2td performance. You cant go wrong with any of the players mentioned.
